The wooden Jenga piece flies across the room, which was thrown by my infuriated brother. I hadn’t seen it coming and it painfully hits me on my back. I grab it and throw it back at him and miss…typical. He grabs another piece which he throws as well, but I didn’t react fast enough and it ends up hitting me on my shoulder. I move back and watch my brother as he leans down and grabs the Jenga piece that I threw before.
I aim carefully, I swing my arm, and let go. The next thing you know I hear a sound of breaking glass, and a bunch of glass shards falling on the ground. “Oh shit.” I thought as I saw all the broken glass fall right in-front of me. I look up and I see the clock that my mom bought was broken, there was like a giant hole where parts of the glass used to be. “I’m so screwed.” I thought, and I picked up the broom and started to sweep.
When I was done and I had thrown all the pieces of glass away, I put the broom away, and took out the clock that was hanging above the door. I looked at it, and it still function, but it just had pointy left- over glass around the area where I accidently threw the Jenga piece. I looked around on the floor to check to see if there were any glass shards that I had missed, but it seemed like I didn’t. “I’ll have to tell mom about this, so that (most probably with my money), we could buy a new clock for the wall, and I’m probably going to get grounded even longer then now.” I thought, as I got into my room, and started to read my book, waiting for the riot to begin.
